Hillbilly Truckers

Along time ago ....in a hillbilly zone far, far, away....Los Angeles sinner-songwriter Eddie Cunningham was PARTYING!! one night hanging out with Dennis Knutson & Roger Alan Wade at Dennis's double-wide in Gallatin, Tennessee. I brought Monty Byrom over (pre-Big House), We were having a guitar pull, jam, party...drinkin' stale moonshine...(pre vicki, in my drinkin' days) Eddie started playing some hard core to the bone, Truck Drivin', lonely, lonesome, six days on the road kinda thang, and it sounded fuckin' cool!!! I think the Hillbilly Truckers was born that night...well in my head, anyways...I headed west To  hang out with good buddy Chris Darrow (Nitty Gritty-Dirt band) and told him bout my ideal...yeah that's it ..my ideal...Now, going way back before little Eddie (me) was conceived my daddy would take my momma out on dates in a 18 wheeler, well, just the cab part - a White Frieghtliner, that his dad drove cross country for work. So I figure I'm a product of a hillbilly trucker...we started out playing at veterans functions, American legion and what not! I always have a bunch of hot players sitting in, almost different players everytime we play, we sound pretty good I reckon and always have alot of pretty slutty biker chicks hanging around. the music relaxes me some...I almost can't stop dancin', come on out and try to make sense of it! ITS GOOD FOR YOUR RECKLESS SIDE!!!! GOD BLESS AND GET THOSE BROTHERS & SISTERS HOME FROM WAR!  PEACE OUT!!! EC
